Who am I, what am I?

Photos by Daniel Peebles.

Previous life chapters brought a new vision to my eyes, and letting it pass by is not an option so I have an urge to record it. After my experience as an infantryman in Afghanistan along with other mentally and emotionally damaging events, my drive to free myself from such had me find art as something that could help me deal with these new feelings.

I Started out with a sketchpad and pencil until it lead me to photography where I found that my perspective can better be defined. I gravitate heavily toward truth and realism, because to capture life as it unfolds uninterrupted in front of my eyes is golden. My love for street photography and documentary style photography clearly shows in the majority of my work. I strongly believe recording life in such a way is a necessity for future generations.
